Sole Sisters

Before leaving Manila and after enrolling, I decided to have a quick dinner date with my bestfriend first.

Headed straight to Trinoma for some dinner, to buy pasalubong for my parents, and a little “window” shopping at jellybean.

You see those mustard wedge over there? I hope I get to see them after sembreak.

As soon as we saw these lovely babies, we couldn’t resist but get them! I think it was really meant for us! haha. I’ve been obsessing over leopard prints lately. I think I got it from my bestfriend ‘coz she’s been obsessing over them like since forever, even before the whole animal print trend. We even have matching leopard bags and now we have these!

Sole sisters! Now in matching shoes!

I’m sure, if you’ve been reading my blog, Bea is already a resident face. She’s my bestfriend, shopping-mate, my lookbook photographer, partner in crime and soul-sister. She’s really amazing I promise! I love her to bits! =)

And here comes the outfit post for the day

Blazer: Supersale Bazaar | Top: Pink Belter | Shorts: Muffin | Belt: SM Dept Store | Bag: Coconut Gold | Shoes: Jellybean | Necklace: Mia Casa

Honestly, years ago especially in HS, I hated heels, you can’t force me to wear them. Even on prom night, I brought a flats with me as a substitute for my heels. I was the most insecure girl about my height before.

BUT! as I grew up, I learned to appreciate all the good and the bad things about life. I realized that my height is a blessing and absolutely not a curse for me not to wear heels. I’m 5’6” with stick thin legs and I tend to wear heels not lower than 4.5” which makes me almost a six-footer. And ofcourse I always get the awkward (not just glances but) stares. As in all the people when we walked around the mall was glued on my shoes or maybe my height. But if I keep on mindingl the people I won’t be the “me” right now and I won’t be able to wear stuffs that I really love. I really don’t dress to impress rather to express. =) confidence is the key! =)

Thanks to Bea for being patient with me and for being my outfit photographer. =)

xoxo.
